About Ainsley Daumler
Ainsley was born the 2nd of 5 girls and was raised in Calgary, Winnipeg, and Burkina Faso, West Africa.
With a wide perspective of the world, the arts became a place where she could express herself. She learned the piano and violin in gradeschool and found acting as a teenager. After almost pursuing jazz violin in university, she instead got an acting degree.
After working almost a decade as a professional actor in Calgary, Ainsley auditioned for the National Theatre School of Canada and made the move to Montreal when she was accepted in 2023. She will graduate from the Acting program in spring 2026. She has relished the opportunity to develop her skills further, practice her craft and meet artists from across Canada and beyond.
She is interested in work that is existential, historical and provocative. Outside of the theatre, Ainsley enjoys swimming in mountain lakes, gardening, riding horses and helping her friends interior design their homes.
